Just a few hundred metres from Bournemouth's sandy beaches, Mercure Bournemouth Queens Hotel has spacious, traditional rooms. We have a wellness club which includes a pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and a gym. Onsite we also have our award-winning Queen's restaurant.

Bournemouth vibrant town centre with a large selection of restaurants, cafes and bars, Bournemouth International Centre, the Pavillion Theatre, Odeon cinema, Oceanarium and the AFC Bournemouth are all within 15 minutes’ walking distance. Poole, Christchurch, Wimborne, Swanage, and the New Forest are all easily accessible with 45 minutes by car. Bournemouth International airport is just a short 15-minute drive and Bournemouth train station is a five-minute drive in a taxi or a 15-minute walk.

All bedrooms have 24-hour room service, and some have a balcony or partial sea view. Each features a chrome cast TV, tea/coffee-making facilities and an En-suite bathroom with complimentary toiletries. Extra trundles/camp beds/cots for children are available upon request and some rooms are inter-connecting. Some rooms are pet friendly at an additional cost of £30 per night.

Queens Hotel & Spa Bournemouth’s restaurant is open for a buffet breakfast and dinner offering a delicious menu with many dishes using local, fresh produce. I had a lovely 2 days , enjoyed the swimming pool and the sun .

The staff was amazing, very helpful people and really made me feel good in my weekend. The food was great, their service for booking a table , very fast . On check out , the staff kindly offer to call a taxi for me .

I would probably need to say the cleaning process wasn’t very efficient.

Basically fine

Breakfast was fine, front-desk staff were helpful

Charged £6.50 for a half pint of draft beer - surely that was a mistake? Delays in being served at bar because barman was frequently off multi-tasking elsewhere

Not 4 star stayed in better 2 stars

The hotel is lovely, the reception staff are very friendly and attentive, spa is good and it's in a nice location. 3star

The hotel is very cold in all the communal areas, so stayed in room which we had to change due to being cold and heating not working. breakfast is self service (not very hot) and staff not attentive at all. Evening restaurant experience and not comfortable. Still needs lots of updating

Good hotel

Nice big hotel, great pool facilities, nice location .

There was a dog in a room near us which continued to bark for the whole weekend. Staff forgot to restock towels and sugars in our rooms. Also lighting in the room to do make up was awful so so dark.

Bathroom needs updating. Floor are very loud. You can hear people above you. Very noisy at night due to this.

I hope next time I’ll have no any kind of issues.

The staff was very nice and polite as usual we expected

I was there on 11/05/24 in room 216 The room was very hot on hot day because the AC wasn’t working properly , the staff there tried to help and fix it but couldn’t , so they offered me a small fan to used but it didn’t help and the room was still hot all night so I couldn’t sleep well I used to go and stay in this hotel for the last years since was mercury Hotel but this time I had bad experience for what’s happened .

Staff, room. Facilities were great.

The indoor pool was a tad chilly, and we couldn't use the jacuzzi as it had broken, which was a shame. Rooms could be more soundproof. Also, at breakfast, the plates to eat the cooked breakfast from were hidden away in a sliding container. There was no sign to say this. We noticed a few other guests also had the same issue. We had to ask the chef where they were. So, a sign to state the plates where there would have been helpful.

We absolutely loved the great deal on the half board booking. The best was the fantastic evening 3 course meal.

We thought the room was very dark in decor & lighting very poor.

Really nice room and facilities. Every staff member was very helpful and kind

Restaurant was too expensive for what we got. We ordered two burgers which came without any sides for £17 each ( only burger) . And the fries were just frozen ones from the bag which cost £4 I don't think worth the money. I think I was unhappy as I was expected for that price to be freshly made. I don't mind to pay for the food if it's quality but I just felt for what it was it was expensive. Left £70 for 2 burgers 2 sides and a glass of wine + tip.

Nice but could of been better.

The staff were very good. Unfortunately I did not get to use the Spa.but it sounded tempting.

My stay was Friday to Monday (3 nights) was to visit my daughter and Grandchildren. This meant that I was out all day and back at the hotel around 6pm each night. The television which did not work was reported Friday. This problem persisted all weekend and kind of ruined my chance to relax in the evenings. As I do not drink. It was a shame to end my stay staring at a televisions screen, reporting an error code! Apparantly the entire hotel was having television problems that weekend, such a shame. Also my room was rather drafty and so was chilly on returning each day.

Good location hotel, greater staff attitude. It was let down by outdated design and facilities not working.

The staff were doing their very best to make our stay comfortable. They always had a smile on their faces and were eager to help.

Nice location, good facilities, good location, well kitted out rooms.

Very nice property with good spa facilities including pool etc. Also lovely bar and restaurant. Parking on site was very helpful and made the stay easy.

Appreciate the site is dog friendly but people shouldn’t be allowed to leave their dogs in rooms if they aren’t well trained. We had a dog barking continuously from around 7am one morning and then again in the evening.
